Hate that tight, sticky feeling left on your skin after bathing with ordinary bar soap? This often occurs because unlike true soap, which is made with good fats and oils saponified with lye, most commercially made bars are made with harsh synthetic detergents that strip your skin of your natural oils, unbalance its pH, and do little to heal or support skin issues (if not exacerbate them).

But bathing with milk?! Sounds bizarre but did you know that Queen Elizabeth and even Cleopatra were recorded as occasionally bathing in goat milk? They were onto something! Goat milk is incredibly rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins. Selenium along with vitamins A, D, and E in particular hold anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. They help promote collagen production and skin-cell turnover along with reducing redness and irritation caused by psoriasis and eczema. The medium-chain fatty acid content is far higher than cows' milk, which deeply hydrates the skin and supports its moisture barrier and acts as a gentle exfoliant. Handmade goat milk soap has a pH similar to human skin, which makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin or use on delicate areas while still deeply cleansing.

Despite the wonders of goat milk in our products, the rest of the ingredients also act as a powerhouse of skin nourishment and work synergistically with the milk. Our soaps and lotions all contain beneficial oils and butters like olive, coconut, sustainable palm or lard, almond, avocado, shea and mango butters. We also leave out all the harsh stuff you don't need in your skincare. Our soap is made using the cold-process method, meaning it is allowed to go through the saponification process naturally, being left to cure over 6 weeks. This allows more glycerin to remain at the end of the process, creating a gentler and more moisturizing bar.
